Just enjoying life!

Life lately has been really great (as always lol)! I made it through midterms (WOOHOO!), enjoyed fall break, and besides that just enjoyed everyday life! For fall break the student leaders at college went on a retreat to the lake. It was a great time  of relaxing and alot of  laughs!!

Then there is the awesome date nights with my man! Last weekend we carved a pumpkin with his younger sister. He did great! We girls just supervise! Then each Wednesday night is our date night. Last Wednesday we went out to eat, then went to the movies! Can i rabbit trail from there? I really do love a good deal and using a coupon. I honestly believe this is one way God blesses me. Like Wednesday night I had coupons for free movie tickets, candy, and most of our dinner. It is a continuous things and honestly Matt and i are often surprised ourselves. We are both full time college students and who really has money anyway, but by the grace of God we are able to (In my opinion) eat like kings and queens, dress in very nice clothing, and enjoy outings that we would never be able to do if it was not for sales, coupons, and yard sales! I just wanted to tell you how blessed we  are! :) As we are both called into ministry it is often asked how would it work financially. My opinion is if God is providing this well now i have no doubt that He will continue. Btw, also have i said lately how much i love my fiance?! Each day i realize more and more how perfect we are for  each other.

Finally, lately God has really been laying on my heart to "bloom where I'm planted" meaning in my life I do not have to be a children's minister to impact children's lives. I keep children almost on a daily basis. So last night i was keeping some kids and as they were playing i was reading my quiet time. Well they asked what i was reading and long story short they do not go to church and do not have a Bible. Why have i missed this opportunity so many times before?! So then i decided to teach them a song about Jesus and this lead to us talking about Jesus. Their attention span was short, but i pray for those nuggets of truth that was planted! :)

Besides that.... I love my life as RA, fiance, student, daughter, granddaughter (Please continue praying for both of my sick grandmothers!), friend and daughter in Christ! :)

Enjoy the pics!

PRAISE REPORT!

Soooo I do not think I've mentioned it on this blog, but I'm sure I have on www.jenniferandkathryn.blogspot.com about my grandmother's cancer. She found out over the summer and it was pretty serious. Well it's had it's ups and downs. First round of chemo did not go so well and so she just finished her second round. She got the results back from her scan last week and *drum roll* and her cancer has shrunk 40%!!! We are praising the Lord and thankful for what He is doing! She will continue chemo treatements and hopefully it will get the rest! Please keep praying!:)
